Jeffrey Kaufman, the President of Old Colony Baking, and his wife Ann, the CEO, started the business in 1998 after both spent over 25 years at Plantation Baking Company, the Kaufman family baking business. As Jeffrey worked in the bakery during school vacations and then full-time after graduating from college, he was taught early on that there was never a substitute for quality.
